On November 22nd 2008, Slick DJ Magazine will host their second ever Irish Dance Music Awards ceremony, just ten months after the premier event. Originally held in Spirit (The Academy), the awards party for the year ending 2008 will now be relocated to the National Show Centre, Swords to co-inside with Coolnights, a car show arranged by our sister magazine Slick Mag and Xtreme Promotions. With an area capable of holding over 9,000 people, the day out is sure to be an enjoyable one, with a multitude of entertainment to keep everyone happy. The show commences at 5pm and runs until 10 on the Saturday evening, with the awards taking place at 8pm. While the event itself costs 20euro for all car enthusiasts, if you’re just interested in coming along for the Awards and music (which includes a live performance from The Infomatics as well as a selection of Irish DJ’s), drop us an email and we’ll gladly give you a discounted entry,

to help us build the short list. The show will be taking place under the cover of darkness, with a big lighting arrangement and a massive sound system to get you in the mood for after. As the event is over early, it shouldn’t mess with anyone’s plans to go out later that evening.
We've been compiling a nice big list of nominees over the past month but want your help to finalise the short list, so if you could send some feedback on what categories and what nominees you think are deserving of an award can you please get your info in ASAP.
